The Mahdi will not be influenced by anyone, will be bound by no caliph or anybody else, and will write his own works and expound his ideas in the light of his own conscience without being influenced by any idea, group, sect or any political ideology, acting solely according to the Qur’an and the Sunna.
…Don’t you know that except the Qaim (Mahdi) behind whom ‘Isa, son of Maryam will perform the prayer, all of us from the Ahl al-Bayt will have the oath of allegiance (Irreligion will prevail during the time of the Mahdi, almost everyone will fall under this system) of that time’s tagut (every entity, power, demon that do not recognize the domination of Allah) on them? Almighty Allah will conceal his appearance and hide his person. THUS WHEN HE APPEARS NOBODY’S OATH OF ALLEGIANCE WILL LIE ON HIM...

Hasan ibn Munzir narrates from Zurara that Imam Jaffari Sadiq stated: “I swear that your owner will eventually appear AND WILL HAVE NOBODY’S OATH OF ALLEGIANCE ON HIM.

Ibrahim ibn Omar Yamani says: Imam Abu Abdullah stated: “When the Qaim (Mahdi) comes, HE WILL APPEAR WITH NO-ONE’S OATH OF ALLEGIANCE ON HIM.”

Hisham ibn Sâlim says: Imam Abu Abdullah stated: “When the Qaim [Mahdi] appears THE VOW, PROMISE OR OATH OF ALLEGIANCE OF NONE WILL LIE ON THE MAHDI.”
